The Annoy-A-Tron from ThinkGeek

The annoy-a-tron is essentially a fart machine, high technology, but with a little more flavor. Is $ 12.99 from ThinkGeek and has 6 sounds annoying to be random to annoy anyone within earshot. Turn it on, hide under the desk of a coworker, and see that as trying to get to where the sound of a cricket is coming. It is a small device that is easy to hide, and if your goal find it, they have no idea what it is.

Check out the rest of our jokes after the holidays!

Remapping keyboard shortcuts with shortcuts

Screen shot 2011 03 29 at 21 22 52

After using a Mac for some time, many users pick up a lot of keyboard shortcuts that will save some time here and there throughout the day. Whether to make a simple copy and paste, save a document, show Safari bookmarks, or update mailboxes, these useful shortcuts soon become commonplace, and often do not realize how much they use them.

Use keyboard shortcuts for Mac, it's easy and fast to re-assign keyboard shortcuts and customize its functions. With a little imagination, this is one of the easiest and most effective ways to sabotage the computer of a colleague while you're away at lunch. Change your copy shortcut to play a song in iTunes, and print your shortcut to launch an application, and you are guaranteed a fun afternoon.

Change language keyboard input

Unless your friend or colleague who can read and write in any language supported on the Mac operating system, it is committed to wind them. Change the language of your keyboard and the testimony of their bewilderment when they realize everything you type in this report we are working on is in Arabic.

No need any additional software for it - just go to System Preferences and click on "Language and Text. " Click on the "Entrance Sources" and select the language you want to change, a flag appears on the menu bar near the clock and you can click on it to select the language you have chosen. Then remove the tick close to the 'Show input menu in menu bar (as in the photo above) to remove the flag and all evidence of his joke.

IPhone Screen Change 'Black on White'

Screen shot 2011 03 29 at 21 50 05

One of the accessibility features in the iPhone is for users who prefer a higher contrast, and is called "white on black '. It changes the appearance of an iPhone completely weird and wonderful combination of high contrast colors that makes everything look completely different. For someone who does not know about this feature, picking up his iPhone to find what looks like a full screen malfunction is very worrying. I recommend playing this trick on a loved one while out of the room.

To enable the white on black, go to the iPhone application and go to Configure the "accessibility" in the 'General' tab. Change the 'White on the back "to change colors and will change instantly. The same effect can be achieved on a Mac by pressing Command-Option-Command-8 together.

Disable the mouse from a friend

Screen shot 2011 03 29 at 22 07 59

Not
long ago, it was very easy to remove the trackball mouse from a friend while they were away and turned off completely in time for his return. But did you know that is just as easy to disable a modern day laser mouse? Simply take a piece of black tape and hide the laser on the base of the device and place wagers with the rest of his friends in the time it will take the victim to realize what has happened.

Blue Screen of Death and Kernal Panic Screensaver

We've all
had, and all the hate. You are sitting working away from the comprehensive document that started three hours, and die all of a sudden everything, and you have a nice big error message as to rub on the face. For Windows users is the blue screen of death, and for the Mac, is the heart of panic. The Windows guys will be more familiar with this than the lucky ones who have a Mac, but equally frustrating that you are using. Unless, of course, does not happen to you - then it's hilarious.

A quick Google search will help you find the above images that can be stored on the computer of your victim. Then go to screen saver preferences and settings of attack. When they return to find the error that is obvious, the pleasure of their frustration, because no need to restart your computer.

Phantom Keystrokes

The
product ThinkGeek second function of our assessment is the keystroke Ghost - another $ 12.99 device that plugs into the USB port of your target and causes chaos on your screen, ma
king random keystrokes and mouse movements. A switch on the side of the device allows you to choose between writing complete crap, caps lock lever movements, mouse, annoying, or a mixture of all three if you feel really bad. There is also a tool that allows you to adjust the duration between attacks.

This device works on any computer with a USB port (though caps lock switch will not work on a Mac) - all you need do is plug it in....

NCAA Bracket Predictions: East Region Selections Show Mostly chalk, Ohio State Building

March 15, 2011 - Being the No. 1 overall seed in supporting the 2011 NCAA tournament has its privileges. Usually get to play a series of pseudo home games are supposed to get a favorable draw. So I understand why Ohio State is playing in Cleveland, Ohio, for the first two rounds, and I understand why their second round match will be against one of the two teams that have no place in the area for March Madness start. It's a dream to walk to the Sweet Sixteen, but that's where the Buckeyes bottom line.

Taking into account the planting, children Thad Matta was jobbed really drawing some heavyweights like four seeds. One to four - State of Ohio, Kentucky, Syracuse and North Carolina - are the best collection of big dogs of any region in the NCAA Tournament. In fact, I would say that each of these four teams is more dangerous than their respective pairs of seeds online for any other reason the media.

As for the rest of the seed in the East, I see great potential upset, and I would be surprised if this group did not play according to the seeds after the first round (with the exception of a possible "Cuse on stomach 3-2 UNC .)

The Headliners

No surprises here. Ohio State, North Carolina, Syracuse, and Kentucky are the class of this region. Obviously, Ohio State is the best team in the land, and here's why. They have the best basketball player Jared Sulling University and surround him with experienced talent that extends the floor. On defense, their length and experience on the perimeter allow the Bucks to bother the teams that really do not run their stuff or get impatient.

The two seed North Carolina Tar Heels pose their own challenges. They have the best offensive frontcourt in college basketball and are one of the few teams that can boast of a true five Zeller, a true four Henson, and most importantly a real man in three Harrison Barnes. Barnes is not a large third guard, a true small forward who can play inside and out making it a nightmare. Do not believe me, ask Kyle Singler.

The three seed Syracuse Orangemen are unique in their style. They are big and athletic as usual, but the active zone defense is what gives opposing offenses attacks, especially in a tournament setting with the preparation time at a premium. Your computer can see an area Syracuse style, once all season, if they are lucky.

Kentucky is a dangerous four seeds which happens to be peaking at the right time. They have more talent in the NBA than any of the other teams in the line of four, and Coach Calipari has them firing on all cylinders on both ends. The committee did a disservice to the Buckeyes here putting the Wildcats as four in this region.

Sleepers

Not many. Maybe Marquette can win two games by 11 to get past Xavier and then use the familiarity with the Syracuse area for a turnaround in the second round. Jae Crowder has to play better than him in the Big East tournament and center Chris Otule have to give the Golden Eagles record more productive for Crowder will slide to its natural position as a hybrid four. If not, beat Xavier. Other than that I do not see any other double-digit seed to make noise out of the first round.

All Region team

My field of attack could go six deep and confrontation with any other region in the tournament. Sulling is my five for obvious reasons. I had drawn in on this computer in May.

The power forward is fellow freshman Terrence Jones of Kentucky. His dynamic inside / outside the set of skills that complement what Sulling made in the boxes. Find me a better pair of big men in this tournament.

My wing is another Frosh, Harrison Barnes. I do not want a third guard in my lineup. We are not building an important here.

At shooting guard is Darius Johnson-Odom Marquette, which is explosive get to the basket and credible shooting the ball from behind the arc. He pushes the electric Demontez Stitt, Clemson and the constant combo-guard Brandon Triche of Orange.

The point guard is going to perhaps the most underrated player in the country in your Holloway. He does everything for the Musketeers Javier, getting buckets in bunches in more than 20 points per game, delivering more than five dimes per game and pulling down five boards with his 6'0 "frame. Not many people know who you are, but Tu Marquette better.

Prediction

When filling in their brackets East, remember that upsets will be the exception and play according to seeds is the rule in this region. Marquette is the only double digit seed to grab a win with the top four seeds advancing to the knockout stages.

In Newark, the Syracuse area is tailored to defeat a UNC squad that lacks a credible outside jumpshooter Harrison Barnes. The Tar Heels lost this game when Reggie Bullock was injured.

The upper half of the bracket is a similar nightmare Kentucky style duel. The savages have no real escape guard needed to harm over Ohio State athletic perimeter defenders. Without a major threat dribble drive, the Buckeyes may be centered around the challenge of arch bridges. At the other extreme, Sulling creates sufficient for manufacture of double criminality by teammates against the young Wildcats. Diebler is June 4 from the bottom and is a direct beneficiary of the aid from the United Kingdom for the post of talent.

In the Regional Final, the Buckeyes can deploy enough shooters against the Syracuse zone, which leaves room Sulling duck into cracks and crevices inside the area for a monster game. As Kentucky, Syracuse lacks the explosive guard play necessary to win a shootout with the Buckeyes.

Ohio State advances to Houston looking like the best team in the land, as predicted in November.

By the way, if you have 10 days to make the perfect meal, The Food Network has a lot of Irish dishes that can feed your family with a little less preparation time. And then there's always beer.

Recursion is a low-level operation wn fun

Yesterday I demonstrated how to transform a mundane recursive function tail recursive function. However, I received some criticism for that position, because there are better ways to implement run-length encoding with Clojure. While true, I think some of my critics1 missed the point of the exercise. ;-)

That said, your points are valid because in Clojure (and probably most if not all functional languages) resources should be seen as a low level 2 operation and to avoid if possible. The best way is to study the various functions of higher order and connect them together to create new functions. We go through great lengths to stress in this joy of Clojure, so do not retrace threshing floor. Instead, note the following:

1.

Criticism is probably not a fair statement. A better term would be Kritik.
2.

Low compared with levels of abstraction and also very much the same way that hedonism is low.

Thank you very much Christophe Gran Malloy Alan, and Alan Dipert motivating4 ideas for this post.

That is, he stole their ideas and made them free point. cough. cough.
