In an obvious attack on the Congress high command in Delhi, Kadapa MP Y S Jaganmohan Reddy moved a step further on Monday and declared that he was ready to fight with “anyone” not only in the state but also in the country to achieve his goal.
He made these sensational remarks while conducting the Odarpu Yatra in Kanigiri in Prakasam district. “Several forces are coming together to launch an attack on this 36-year old person. Is it necessary? What mistake did I commit? Is it wrong to call on the families of those people who had laid down their lives out of grief after my father’s death?” he asked.
Jagan challenged that no force on the earth can stop him. “Let all these forces join hands and attack me. I am not going to succumb. I will fight with any force in the country,” he declared. Earlier in the day, Jagan also came down heavily on some newspapers for publishing reports against him and his father. He said that some papers have developed animosity against Dr YSR during his tenure as CM and giving vent to it through misinformation against him, alleging that he was bringing people from Kadapa to his meetings. He maintained that he was not alone even if MLA’s are abstaining from his tour since people were behind him. “You know what is happening in the last one year. As long as you are with me, I don’t have to worry about. Raise your voice so strongly that it would shatter the hearts of Chandrababu Naidu and Ramoji Rao,” he said.
