How to Remove ‘This site may harm your computer’ for your wordpress or blogger blog or website in Google search engine results page. Here is the solution for this type of error, usually this type of error will occur if your website has a malware or other harmful virus.



What Google says about this -

What happened? Very simply, human error. Google flags search results with the message “This site may harm your computer” if the site is known to install malicious software in the background or otherwise surreptitiously. We do this to protect our users against visiting sites that could harm their computers. We maintain a list of such sites through both manual and automated methods. We work with a non-profit called StopBadware.org to come up with criteria for maintaining this list, and to provide simple processes for webmasters to remove their site from the list.

Steps you can take to make remove this error:

If you use wordpress or any other CMS, then immediately update or upgrade to the latest version available.
Search for outgoing spam links or malware files on your pages and delete them.
Request a review by StopBadware.org
Login to Google Webmaster Tools, click on your website (if you not added your website Know how to submit sitemap to Google).
Search for the malware message, click more details and click Request a review.

Solution to Allowed memory size exhausted Fatal Error (upgrade). During your wordpress version or plugin upgradation you may see fatal error for allowed memory size.

Why this error occurs:

WordPress sets its memory limits in the wordpress configuration or settings file as shown in below screenshot, and if you exceed this limit then wordpress fatal error will be shown. The error will not harm your wordpress blog.

Solution to this error:

  • Go to your web hosting account control panel.
  • Open file manager and then go to Public html.
  • You will see a wp-settings.php file in it.
  • Right click on wp-settings.php and click edit, the file will be opened in a notepad.
  • Now search (Ctrl + F) for 32M in this file as shown in the above screenshot.
  • Change it from 32M to 64M.
  • Save the file and and that’s all, now your WordPress upgradation should work fine
