How to Stop (Block) Incoming Mobile SMS Reception Temporarily. There is a method to block or stop receiving SMS messages to your mobile temporarily so that they dont disturb you.

Here are the steps you must follow to stop SMS messages -
Press *35*xxxx*16# from your mobile phone
xxxx is your Call Barring code, by default it will be 0000
So if your barring code is 0000, then to stop SMS’s you must press *35*0000*16#
To receive SMS again just type #35*xxxx#
This methods works for Indian mobiles, for other countries these codes may not work, check it once.
